"Acoustic Lure Tracking"(ALT) Measures lure depth so you know how deep the lure or bait is trolled.
The ALT system is the answer to the question; "is there a way to tell how deep my lure is running?" It is the only electronic system that enables you to tell how deep the lure is when trolling. The ALT system also tells you the water temperature at the lure's depth.
It is an electronic system designed to help you determine how deep a lure (or bait) is running when trolling for fish. The ALT system can be used with any ordinary fishing rod and reel. You can fish straight off the boat, or use the ALT with a downrigger, outrigger and even with planer boards.
You can use it for both fresh water and salt water fishing...and it is very easy to use.
Whether fishing with lures or fishing with live (or cut) bait... ALT will help you to increase your catch!!
How it works:
The Acoustic Lure Tracking system tells you exactly how deep you are trolling a lure, cut bait or live bait. The ALT system includes a Hand-Held Receiver, a Hydrophone and one or two Sensors
The ALT system has the ability to monitor one lure or two lures (at the same time) and is very easy to use. Simply attach the small Acoustic Sensor between your leader and main line (with the lure or bait of your choice attached to the other end of the leader). The leader can be any length that you choose.
The sensor is so small (0.5 inch diameter) and light (about 1 ounce in air and virtually weightless in water) that it hardly affects the action or "feel" of the lure and is not noticeable at all when fighting a fish.
The Acoustic Sensor incorporates tiny circuits that monitors the lure's depth and temperature and transmits a signal through the water to the boat.
Every 10 to 15 seconds the sensor sends an encoded acoustic signal through the water to the Hydrophone. The Hydrophone converts it to an electrical signal and the Receiver "reads" the electrical signal and displays the depth and water temperature.
It works GREAT at Depths down to 200 feet and speeds of up to 4.5 MPH and with over 100 yards of line out.
